Common questions

How do I play a friend?

On the Play tab, tap Play a friend, then Create room. Send your friend the five-letter code. They open Lexidash, tap Play a friend, choose Enter a code and type it in. Rooms stay open for five minutes. Your friend needs Lexidash on their iPhone.

Why can't I find an opponent?

When no one is searching, quick match pairs you with a recorded run from another player (a ghost), so you can still race. Ghost races don't change your rating.

Is there a limit on online duels?

Free players get 10 online duels a day, counting quick matches and friend rooms. Rival, ghost and practice races are unlimited.

How do I turn off sounds or music?

Open the Me tab, tap the gear, and switch off Sound effects or Music. Lexidash also stays quiet when your iPhone's silent switch is on.

How do I change my player name?

Open Me, tap the gear, then Change next to your name. You can change it once every 30 days.

How do I delete my account?

Open Me, tap the gear, and choose Delete account. This removes your player name, rating, match history and recorded runs from our server right away, and clears your progress from the phone. You can also email us and we'll do it for you.
